projectiondesign® set to reveal FL32 LED projector at InfoComm 09

Industry's first configurable LED based 1080p and WUXGA image resolutions projector promises greatly reduced cost of ownership, sustainability and peace of mind

Fredrikstad, Norway, 23 April 2009
– (Virtual Press Office) - At InfoComm09, Norway's projectiondesign® will lift the wraps off the brand new FL32 projector, the company's first LED-based projection system which promises ultra-low maintenance and ultra-low energy consumption.

The FL32 has no limits on installation orientation and can be used in any configuration including front and rear projection applications. These range from single and multi-channel systems, 24/7 process control monitoring, advanced visualization, 3D stereoscopic, simulation to curved domes as well as single-screen video.

"With our revolutionary new FL32 projector, power consumption is reduced by a minimum of 50% as compared to a standard dual-lamp projector making it one of the most efficient, scalable and durable systems available in the market. The owner does not have to replace any lamps during the projectors working life time making it completely failsafe and ideal for 24/7 operation," explains Anders Løkke, International Marketing & Communications Manager at projectiondesign. "To illustrate, operation of the FL32 over three years will save 20,000 Euros (25,840 USD) as opposed to the normal operation including power consumption, calibration, maintenance and replacement lamp costs of a dual-lamp projector."

Packed with all the imaging, technology and resolution benefits to be found in the F32 series projectors, the new FL32 LED projector comes with enhanced colour reproduction, an infinite contrast ratio and no rainbow effect. A range of lenses is available for use with the projector including ultra-wide for added installation flexibility.

"We are excited about making another grand entrance at this year's InfoComm with our new FL32 LED projector. InfoComm is the perfect environment to demonstrate to our loyal partners, end users and potential customers the image qualities and benefits of this new technology, especially in the challenging economic climate where maintenance and operation costs efficiencies are increasingly important," adds Løkke.

The FL32 can be seen on the projectiondesign booth #3761 at InfoComm 09 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL, from June 17–19 2009.
