NOVA’s iMod™ Keeps Cables and Cords Under Control
The iMod™ enclosed modesty compartment provides a new option for wire management in desks and tables.

It’s the latest enhancement for those wanting to incorporate computer hardware into furniture products, while providing complete control of wire management challenges.
The iMod™ is a space-conscious compartment located in the modesty area of desks and tables. The space provides an area for easily routing networking cables, electrical cords, and computer/monitor connection cables, keeping them organized and out of sight. It literally eliminates all wires from the knee space area creating a clean “wireless” look as well as protecting them from accidental or intentional disconnection. The iMod™ compartment is currently offered on both laminate workstations and metal leg tables.

Computer-based Training - Workstations
Available products include 24”, 26” and 30” deep thermofused laminate workstations in widths of 32”, 36”, 42” or 48” with one CPU shelf for a single user or 63”, 71”, 83” or 95” widths with two CPU shelves for two users. Work surface height is 30” on all units. Standard square end panels can be upgraded to contoured end panels for added style. The iMod™ compartment itself includes an opening for access to the back of each CPU. Also included is a power strip and wire management trough. End grommets allow for easy connectivity to other desks when placed in rows such as in the classroom or training environment. The removable modesty cover that conceals all of the cabling and closes the iMod™ compartment is available in laminate or perforated metal.
Computer-based Training - Tables
Available products include 24”, 26” and 30” deep metal leg (arched or T-leg) tables with thermofused laminate work surfaces in widths of 36”, 42”, 48” and 60” with one CPU holder for a single user or 72”, 84” or 96” widths with two CPU holders for two users. Work surface height is 30” on all units. The iMod™ compartment itself includes an opening for access to the back of each CPU. Also included is a power strip and wire management trough. The removable modesty cover that conceals all of the cabling and closes the iMod™ compartment is available in laminate or perforated metal. The laminate option provides grommets in each end for easy connectivity to other units. The metal option offers open ends for easy “daisy chaining” of side-by-side units. End Caps (ordered separately) can be added to the ends of a single table or at the ends of each row of multiple units to create a finished look in the classroom or training environments.
Desks and tables can also include NOVA’s patented Visual Display Options for integrating flat panel displays. These include The Downview, The Trolley™, or a surface mount arm.
As a standard, NOVA offers twenty laminate and six metal colors. Thermofused work surfaces can be upgraded to high-pressure laminate for an additional charge.
The iMod™ modesty compartment can also be added to select 25 Series tables as a retrofit option.
