PRYSM DEBUTS IN-HOUSE CONSULTING PROGRAM AT INFOCOMM
New Division Provides Digital Display Design Solutions for any Environment
San Jose, CA – June 9, 2011- (Virtual Press Office) – Digital display innovator, Prysm, today announced the opening of a strategic consulting group dedicated to providing customized projects, strategic guidance and support. The group, comprised of experts with decades of audio/visual, engineering, architectural planning and design experience, will collaborate with consultants to provide vital help in planning, developing and installing on-site digital display solutions.
"The goal of Prysm's Consulting Program is to collaborate with professionals and consultants from a range of industries to provide critical counsel and project support," said Dana Corey, VP of Global Sales & Service. "The group will work as an extension of each project team to ensure smooth and successful planning, design and implementation to guarantee maximum impact for any digital display venture. "
The principal members of Prysm's Consulting Program include Jason Litt, CTS-D and Director of Design, Charles Duncan, Consultant Relations Manager and Terry Walkey, Principal Project Engineer.
Jason Litt
Litt brings more than 16 years of experience to the Prysm Consulting Program, most recently as a principal technology consultant at RTKL Associates, one of the largest international architecture firms. As a Certified Technology Specialist in Design (CTS-D), Litt has designed and executed a variety of international projects in the entertainment, commercial, healthcare and workplace verticals.
Charles Duncan
Duncan has more than 15 years of technical experience at both AMX and Crestron, two of the world's premier Control Systems manufactures in the Audio/Video Industry. With more than 10 years specializing in consultant relationships, he has helped build some of the industry's most successful consultant/manufacturer programs within the U.S. and international communities.
Terry Walkey
Walkey, a 30 year veteran, has worked for companies such as Walt Disney Studios, Warner Brothers Studios and Universal Studios and was the owner of Digital Factory.
These executives bring a wealth of knowledge and broad experience to the new group at Prysm, which positions the team to successfully provide customized solutions for its partners.
"While the exact percentage of pro-AV gear that is sold as the result of an independent consultant, engineer or architect's specifications ranges between an estimated 30 percent to 50 percent, often these specifications are produced on large-scale, high-visibility projects where equipment quantities can be quite large," said Scott Walker, President and CEO of Waveguide Consulting, LEED AP, CTS-D and former President of InfoComm. "Thus, its impact is even greater than the 30 percent to 50 percent of direct specifications that come from independent, non-buying specifiers. Pro AV manufacturers are smart to have a program for supporting these channel partners."
