(Virtual Press Office) - Optical Cable Corporation’s (OCC®) MARS™ Cartridge System is another accessory to the Modular Advanced Reel System specifically designed for deployment, retrieval and storage of fiber optic and copper communications cable. Continuing in the tradition of OCC’s high-impact modified polymer MARS™ Reels, the MARS™ Cartridge System is built for durability and convenience.
The MARS™ Cartridge System features a flip lid with integrated tote handle and wheeled luggage capability to allow for easy transport to and from outdoor venues as well as stadiums and arenas. Plus, the cartridges are stackable, with an inter-lock feature that allows for effortless storage and transport of multiple cartridges. A lock pin is used to secure one cartridge on top of another thus creating a durable system designed to sustain the weight of 2 fully loaded stacked cartridges. The Cartridge System also eliminates the need for custom transport cases.
