Company Preparing to File Application for Relisting on
Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board

Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. (Advanced Cell, ACT) (OTC: ACTC)
announced today that it has filed its Form 10-K for the year-ended
December 31, 2008. The Company anticipates filing its Form 10-Q for its
first quarter ended March 30, 2009 prior to the end of July. Upon
completing that filing, the Company intends to file for relisting on the
Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board as its financial statements will be
current.
