Five Innovators Selected as Finalists in Challenge to Develop App to Improve Blood Pressure Control, Cholesterol Management
(Virtual Press Office) -- Sponsors of the Million Hearts Risk Check Challenge have selected five finalists in the competition to develop an application to support the prevention of one million heart attacks and strokes by 2017.
Surescripts CEO Harry Totonis will name the finalists at the annual mHealth Summit. Other sponsors of the challenge are the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), the Million Hearts initiative, and Archimedes, Inc., a health care modeling company.
