Flavored Oils Make a Splash at Fancy Food Show

Three new Stöger oils launched
to join award-winning pumpkin seed oil

Rowley, MA – December 1, 2012 – (Virtual Press Office) -- Culinary Imports announced that it will be introducing three new Stöger oils at the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco this January at Booth 365. The oils – Cherry Seed, Chile Seed and Tomato Seed – will join the hugely successful Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil already produced by Stöger.

Stöger, a family-owned firm, runs a 567 acre-farm in Austria where it grows the fruits and vegetables used in the oils. All of the oils are pressed to European Standards and are pure oils, not blends. The organic Pumpkin Seed Oil recently won first prize in the Gourmet Products Awards online.

"We're incredibly excited to introduce the new oils at the Fancy Food Show," said Marietta De Angelo. "The Stöger oils are ideal for dipping or topping off a dish and a dash produces an intense burst of flavor that is the perfect compliment to grilled vegetables, salad dressings, breads, poultry or fish and even ice cream," she added. Flavored oils are the fastest growing category in the oils and vinegars category and grew 40% last year according to SPINS.

The Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil has already proven a huge hit with retailers and consumers. It takes 5.5 pounds of pumpkin seeds to produce 34 ounces of oil. It's rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Omega-3, 6 and 9. All four oils will feature new packaging.
