Indie Studio to Bring Rogue's Thandie Newton
to South of France

Toronto / Los Angeles –April 3, 2013 – (Virtual Press Office) -- Entertainment One (eOne) today unveiled its impressive line-up for MIPTV, bringing an exciting slate of new dramas including the highly-anticipated drama series, ROGUE; the sexy new drama series from the creator of Skins, DATES; and the hilarious comedy series, SEED as well as holiday TV movies and returning hit series.

Buyers will have the opportunity to meet award-winning actress Thandie Newton (Mission Impossible 2, Crash) and series creator and Supervising Producer Matthew Parkhill and Executive Producer Nick Hamm on behalf of suspense drama-thriller, ROGUE.

Produced by Entertainment One for DirecTV in the US and Movie Central/The Movie Network in Canada, ROGUE is a smart, complex, character-led thriller, which revolves around Grace (Thandie Newton), a morally and emotionally-conflicted undercover detective who is tormented by the possibility that her own actions caused her young son's mysterious death. In her quest for the truth, Grace goes ROGUE and falls deeper into a forbidden relationship with Jimmy Laszlo, head of the city's most powerful and dangerous crime family. To stay alive, Grace must help Jimmy find the traitor in his midst, while knowing he may have played a role in her own tragedy. Lines are crossed with devastating consequences for all of the characters and everyone around them.

From Bryan Elsley, the creator of the seminal, award-winning series Skins, DATES is a witty, sexy and emotional high-end drama series about people on dates. In bars, restaurants, galleries and bedrooms, lives are intertwined when characters like Stephen, the charming and good-looking thirty-something surgeon and Mia, the heartbreakingly beautiful lost soul in her 20's, meet and discover things about each other, revealing the complicated and hilarious ways people interact on their quest to find love.  The new primetime series will air on Channel 4 in the UK.

Produced by Force Four Entertainment, SEED is a hilarious comedy that follows Harry, a thirty-something bartender with no money, direction or aptitude for responsibility, who discovers that his method of supplementing income in his 20s – sperm donation – has resulted in kids. Lots of kids! This ill-equipped bachelor finds himself embracing the idea of being a father of sorts to his newfound children and their less-than-thrilled families. Starring Adam Korson (2 Broke Girls), Carrie-Lynn Neales (Nikita), Amanda Brugel (Saving Hope, The Firm), Stephanie Anne Mills (Good God, Sidekick), SEED is a fresh take on a family comedy – three different families united, whether they like it or not, by HARRY – their sperm donor. Together they create a unique 21st century family - dysfunctional, asymmetric and imperfect – but ultimately loving too.

In addition, eOne is proud to unveil a fun and inspiring range of holiday television movies including:

WINDOW WONDERLAND, an eOne production for Hallmark, is about a rival male and female decorators who are determined to outshine each other by competing to create the best Christmas display at a famous New York City Department Store.  In their attempts to outdo each other, their windows get progressively out-of-control, culminating in disaster, until they remember the real meaning of Christmas and find love and themselves in the process. Starring Chyler Leigh (Grey's Anatomy), Cameron Mathison (All My Children), Paul Campbell (Almost Heroes), Naomi Judd (Frasier).

Produced by eOne and starring Drew Lachey (98 Degrees) and Mackenzie Porter (Tom, Dick & Harriet, Horses of McBride), GUESS WHO'S COMING TO CHRISTMAS follows a jaded rock star who, in order to repair his tarnished image, publicly decides to fulfill a child's "Dear Santa" Christmas wish. After reluctantly agreeing to spend the holidays in a small town and perform in the local holiday Christmas concert, he's mortified at the prospect of staying in the home of an idyllic, close-knit family but soon realizes the true value in what they have – love, caring and a memorable holiday spirit.

THE CARPENTER'S MIRACLE is about how a simple touch can change everything. In this heart-warming family film, a small town carpenter, Josh Carey, finds himself at the center of a national media story when his touch brings a 12 year-old boy back to life - a boy he valiantly tried to save when he fell into a freezing lake.  Although many consider it a miraculous act, Josh isn't convinced he did anything special, even after he seemingly heals several others. As he tries to return to a normal life, Josh and the boy's mother are thrust into a whirlwind they never expected and he must make a decision that could change his life and the lives of those he cares about most. Based on the book by the same name by Judd Parkin, THE CARPENTER'S MIRACLE stars Cameron Mathison (All My Children), Michelle Harrison (Tom, Dick and Harriet, Emily Owens M.D.), Ryan Grantham (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus), Aaron Pearl (X-Men 2: X-Men United).
