CONTENT TELEVISION STRIKES PAN TERRITORY DEAL WITH DARO FILMS


Cannes, 8th April 2013 – (Virtual Press Office) -- Content Television, a division of Content Media Corporation, has inked a multi-territory distribution deal with Daro Films at MIP-TV, comprising a host of its latest launches and primetime drama titles.

The agreement sees Monaco-based Daro Films picking up all distribution rights throughout Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Portugal and Turkey for the new four-part original drama Run from Acme Films for Channel 4, starring Lennie James and Olivia Colman and seasons one and two of the brand new half-hour talk show Larry King Now.

Also included in the deal are World Productions’ mystery drama The Bletchley Circle and seasons one and two of hit thriller Line of Duty. Screenworks’ Amber, the four-part drama Freddy and season four of Republic of Doyle feature, alongside a package of TV movies and the long-running drama series Highway to Heaven starring Michael Landon.

In addition, Daro Films has picked up rights in English speaking Africa to Artists Studio’s The Fall starring Gillian Anderson and crime drama Jack Taylor, starring Iain Glen.

This new deal is the latest between the two companies, which has previously seen Daro Films acquiring rights to titles such as Thorne, previous series of Republic of Doyle, Ice Road Terror and Killer Mountain.
