BOLA granola responds to consumer interest in reduced sugar with Barely Sweet

After creating BOLA GLUTEN-FREE, we knew it was time to focus on creating something delicious for our fans who are insulin resistant or who avoid refined sugars for other reasons," says founder and CEO Michele Miller.

BOLA granola Barely Sweet is made with 100% Berkshire maple syrup. Each half-cup serving contains just four grams of sugar. Says Miller, "maple syrup contains antioxidants, and being a local product made it even more appealing."

Launched by Michele Miller in 2008, BOLA is made entirely by hand in the Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts.
