Jinny Software Delivers Powerful MMS solution for Play in Poland

Market challenger Play partners with Jinny to innovate services

DUBLIN, February 27, 2012, 07:00 a.m. GMT - (Virtual Press Office) - Jinny Software, a global supplier of messaging, call completion and mobile advertising solutions to wireless carriers, today announces a deal to supply the fast-growing Play mobile operator with a robust, scalable MMSC solution to support Play’s innovative growth strategy.

With 7 million subscribers, Play is one of the most powerful brands in Poland. Statistics show that 7 out of 10 Polish people who change their operator in MNP process choose Play.

Worldwide MMS traffic figures are increasing. Portio research estimates that 320.5 billion MMS messages will have been sent in 2011, up from 248.7 billion in 2010. Portio also estimates that worldwide MMS traffic will grow at a CAGR of 18.9% from 2010 – 2015. Play does not just promote person-to-person (P2P) MMS usage; they also use application-to-person (A2P) MMS campaigns to support and increase their revenue.
