Dmitrov Logistics Park in Moscow

(Virtual Press Office) -“Work is now firmly underway on the development of Dmitrov Logistics Park in Moscow,” says Managing Director for Ghelamco Russia, Stephen Wilson.

“After a dormant period during the recent global financial crisis Ghelamco took the brave decision to recommence development of Phase I of their major logistics park in August 2011. Against a backdrop of rising demand and virtually nil supply the company realized we had to get space into the Market as soon as possible,” says Stephen.

“The decision paid rich dividends with a series of leasing deals prior to the Christmas break leading to the situation now where Phase I of the scheme comprising 60,000 m2 is 85% pre-let. Leases have been concluded with a variety of leading Russian and International companies who all recognize the quality of the Ghelamco offer at Dimtrov Logistics Park while also seeking to have their logistics operations up and running in the summer of 2012. The development was started with equity finance but with credit secured from a leading Russian bank. Ghelamco are already turning their attention to the commencement of Phase II as soon as possible. The entire park comprises around 225,000m2 of warehousing on 47 ha's of land,”he adds.
