Over 25 hours of Tricon’s Production Slate to premiere this fall

Toronto, Canada - August 28, 2012 - (Virtual Press Office) - Tricon Films & Television announces the completion of over 25 hours of series production, slated to premiere this Fall.

Series include:

· Restaurant Takeover (13x60’) premiering August 30th on Food Network Canada

· Ex-Wives of Rock (14x30’) premiering in back-to-back episodes August 31st on Slice

· Season two of Love Trap (20x30’) premiering September 5th on Cosmo TV

· Seasons three of Bitchin’ Kitchen (16x30 + 1 hour special) premiering September 26th on Cooking Channel US

· Pop-Up Gourmet half-hour special premieres on OWN September 4th

In addition, the live finale of the fifth hit season of The Next Star (12X60’) airs September 23rd on YTV.

In a fresh take on the popular Restaurant Makeover, Restaurant Takeover challenges two restaurant industry top guns to help rescue a failing restaurant. In just six days, they overhaul and re-launch a local eatery for review by the toughest critics – their customers.

Ex-Wives of Rock chronicles the highs and lows of the glamorous L.A. lives of four women who have led the sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll life and survived to reinvent themselves. Narrated by Shannon Tweed, wife of KISS bassist Gene Simmons.

Love Trap gives guys and girls the chance to tell an unsuspecting someone they have a crush on how they truly feel.

The third season of Bitchin’ Kitchen continues its deliciously different take on food with Nadia G, a quick-witted and wildly talented host who delivers great recipes with clever twists and a wink.

Pop-Up Gourmet plays on the idea of a ‘pop up’ and applies it to the gourmet world where a chef, designer and sommelier find inspiration in seasonal ingredients and build an entire dinner party around it.

Now in its 5th season, The Next Star is a cross-country search for a diamond in the rough talent that will be mentored and trained in all things that make a star.
