New Gefen ToolBox Extender for HDMI Offers Cost-Effective Pricing for Shorter Runs using HDBaseT Technology

The Gefen ToolBox Extender for HDMI w/POL (Power Over Line) provides an easy and effective way to extend any HDMI source with bi-directional IR and power up to 70 meters over a single CAT-5 cable. Extending power over the same cable as HDMI is possible using Gefen POL technology. This releases the receiver from requiring power at the extended location. The Gefen ToolBox Extender for HDMI with POL can streamline installations where power is limited at the receiving end. It works with all sources using HDMI including tablets, computers, set-top boxes and more. All displays using HDMI connectivity can be extended. Multi-channel audio, 1080p full HD and 3DTV pass-through are fully supported. Installation is plug and play easy, requiring the wall mountable sender unit to be connected to the local source and powered. The wall mountable receiver unit connects to the remote display and requires no power. Distances up to 70 meters are surmounted with just one CAT-5 cable.
