Audio Design Associates (ada), the brand of excellence in home cinema and custom installed sound unveils its first all-in-one home cinema integrated controller, the Cinema Rapture.
New York, NY – September 3, 2012 – (Virtual Press Office) Audio Design Associates (ADA), the recognized brand of excellence in high-end home cinema and custom installed electronics, announced the introduction of the Cinema Rapture 7.1 Channel Integrated Home Cinema Controller at the CEDIA Expo.

The Cinema Rapture combines ADA’s award-winning home cinema technology found in its heralded Suite 7.1 HD and Cinema Rhapsody Mach IV pre/pros and combines them with ADA’s newly designed high-power Class-D amplifier technology. The end result is a compact, quiet and energy efficient integrated home cinema controller that provides 150 Watts per channel into an 8 Ohm load, 300 Watts per channel into a 4 Ohm Load.

“The Cinema Raptures introduction heralds the beginning of a new generation of products for ADA.” states Richard Stoerger, ADA’s vice president and chief operating officer. “We have been working with digital amplification for nearly a decade and after many prototypes, we feel that the amplification technology is finally up to ADA standards” Not only does the Cinema Rapture feature HDMI 1.4 3D switching along with loss-less audio processing, the internal power amplifier is truly amazing sounding.

It all comes down to technology. “Beginning in 2009, ADA took a lead role in high-end home cinema with the release of our Suite 7.1 HD which was later joined by the Cinema Rhapsody Mach IV and just this year, the Cinema Reference Mach IV.” notes Albert Langella, ADA’s president and chief design engineer. “By limiting a handful of features and focusing on incorporating my new Class-D amplifier circuit, we were able to build a “receiver-like” integrated controller that provides ADA caliber home cinema for those who would otherwise opt for a similar product made from lesser components.” The all-metal design and superior assembly and parts really make a difference in the Cinema Rapture’s value proposition. And like all ADA components, the Cinema Rapture is built by hand at ADA’s factory in White Plains, NY. The Cinema Rapture is scheduled to begin shipping before the end of the year with a MSRP of $4999.
