DISH Demonstrates Eight-Room Hopper Whole-Home HD DVR Solution at CEDIA

WHAT: At the CEDIA Expo show in Indianapolis, DISH will demonstrate its latest technology by featuring the Hopper™ Whole-Home HD DVR system in an advanced configuration designed to address up to eight rooms and support video distribution to accompanying Joey units over Coax and Ethernet. The company will also demonstrate its TV Everywhere™ services.

Hopper Whole-Home HD DVR

The award-winning Hopper is the perfect solution for homes with several TVs. Connect Hopper with up to three Joey units, or combine two Hoppers with up to four Joeys, to create unique viewing zones across 12 and 15 TVs. Each zone can view HD programs on as many as six different TVs simultaneously and also record up to nine live HD channels at once during primetime.

Hopper features three tuners and a two-terabyte hard drive. The Hopper system includes the unique PrimeTime Anytime™ and AutoHop™ features.

TV Everywhere

DISH is the only pay-TV provider with comprehensive TV Everywhere technology, and the DISH Remote Access app for iOS and Android is a key element of that capability. Customers can watch DVR content and every live TV channel anytime, anywhere using the app in concert with a Hopper and a Sling® Adapter.

On the iPad, DISH offers the added ability to stream thousands of titles from an expansive on-demand library of Blockbuster titles and premium network content.
