WINX CLUB SERIES 5
Headlining Rainbow's slate for Brand Licensing Europe is the brand new fifth series of hit property Winx Club. Aimed at 4-12 year olds, Winx Club is a major worldwide success and is currently on air in more than 130 countries. A mix of 2D and 3D animation, the new series features beautiful settings and a magical world with an ecological focus on saving the oceans.

In addition to the TV series, Winx Club has 365 licenses and billions worth of merchandising at retail worldwide across all categories and is proving to be a major 360° brand across digital, publishing, home entertainment and live events. With major global partners such as Bandai Namco, Unilever and Benetton on board, a brand new range of toys linked to the TV show and digital media will launch in conjunction with the new series.

Winx Club dolls are produced for the worldwide market by Witty Toys, part of the Rainbow Group, except in North America, Australia, New Zealand and UK where Jakks Pacific is the master toy licensee producing and distributing the dolls. The Winx Club doll range is one of the top selling fashion doll ranges in the US and is also seeing major success across key retailers in the UK and Australia.

With Winx Club toys currently distributed and ranked among the top five fashion dolls in more than 50 countries worldwide, new partners on board are Bizak in Spain, Universal Trends in Germany, Adore for Turkey, Cotiplas for Brazil; Emway for Indonesia; Tisak for Croatia and OFY for Serbia.

Winx Club is also making major inroads into the food sector with key partnerships across Europe. In Italy, Aligda and Unilever are debuting a new Winx Club branded ice cream cup for Summer 2012. In France and Belgium, Quick Restaurants are dedicating the month of August to Winx Club with a Winx Club menu in all restaurants supported by a strong advertising campaign to promote the distribution of millions of magic Winx Club premiums. In addition Ferrero – world leader in the chocolate sector – will partner with Winx Club across Europe for the launch of series 5 with the distribution of millions of Winx Club branded eggs from September 2012. This partnership will also see a major promotion for Easter 2012 supported by a significant TV advertising campaign.

The property is already a hit across all continents and will have strong presence in the Nordic and Benelux territories, South Africa, Israel, Bulgaria, Thailand, Korea and Singapore this coming fall.


MIA AND ME
Mia and Me is aimed primarily at girls aged 5-8, and developed and co-produced by Lucky Punch, Rainbow, March Entertainment and ZDF, and is jointly distributed worldwide by master agent m4e and Rainbow. An exciting fantasy adventure the show is a unique hybrid of live action and CGI animation. More than 50 territories globally will launch the first season of 26 x 23' episodes in 2012.

Rainbow has secured a major licensing partnership with Mattel for toy rights to this new girls' property. In addition to Mattel, a widespread licensing programme is already underway for the property with international licensing partners on board including Panini, Unilever Germany, Belltex, Clementoni, Schmidt Spiele and Egmont. Consumer products will be available Summer 2012.

Mia and Me won the MipJunior Licensing Challenge Award in 2011 and was named Best Animated TV-Series for Kids at the International Trickfilm Festival Stuttgart 2012.

HUNTIK SECRET AND SEEKERS
Huntik Secret and Seekers is an action-adventure series with an epic storyline aimed at 6-12 year old boys. Combining culture, history and modern characters in a way never before seen in kids' properties, Huntik offers something completely different from traditional boys' cartoons. Huntik transports its audience across the globe to explore beautiful cities and epic locations, recalling classical legends and stories that are rooted in European tradition and its mythology. Huntik will launch in the US on 6th of August on Nicktoons at 8pm - Monday-Thursday.

Beyond its TV success, Huntik was designed to be a multimedia brand. The high collectability of its characters have lent to the development of a 360° licensing plan that is being realised all over the world. Huntik will begin by increasing its international presence in fall 2012 with the launch of an English-language version Facebook page and also an official Huntik Youtube channel.

Spring 2013 will see Rainbow roll out an extensive range of games across multiple platforms including console, PC, apps and online. The games will be centred around the mechanic of battle with Titians and a key element for the digital games will be quests to overcome and reach goals.

In addition, Huntik has the only 5D theme park attraction in Europe with the Huntik Dark Ride in Rainbow MagicLand Theme Park in Rome. Huntik Dark Ride was the winner of the Parkmani Award 2011 as Best Attraction in Europe.

POPPIXIE
PopPixie is a TV and licensing hit, already broadcasting in over 25 countries in Europe. It has a core target audience of 5-9 year old kids and is a TV series full of comedy, bizarre adventures and surreal antics. Thanks to positive, feel-good themes, PopPixie inspires and empowers girls and boys alike, increases their self-esteem and provides positive role models. PopPixie has more than 115 licensees already on board across all key licensing categories including toys, publishing, back-to-school, home entertainment, apparel and FMCG.
