HIT “SANCTUARY” SERIES IN OFF-NET SYNDICATION DEAL
PPI Releasing and Tricon to Launch One-Hour Drama as Weekly in 2013-14
Los Angeles, CA– October 8,2012 -(Virtual Press Office) – Tricon Films & Television and PPI Releasing announced today that “Sanctuary”, the popular off-net one-hour procedural drama, would be launched in weekly barter syndication in 2013-14.

“Sanctuary” stars Amanda Tapping as Dr. Helen Magnus, the daring leader of the Sanctuary team of investigators who track down, study and protect strange creatures that secretly populate our world. The series famously began as a ground-breaking internet-only offering that drew nearly 4 million viewers and then scored one of the highest-rated series launches in Syfy network history.

The creative team brings together writers, producers and cast, notably Amanda Tapping, from syndication’s long-running, multi-part “Stargate” franchise.
